Inspection Scrap and Equipment Yield

Further testing of PRO COOL® v1.0 has identified several issues with reported yield values. PRO COOL® cost and capacity analyses are impacted only if both Inspection Scrap and Equipment Yield Loss are identified for a process step. Using both losses results in an error for "Line Yield" on the following reports and charts:

• Management Summary Report
• Ships by Process Step Chart

In all other cases, cost and capacity analyses are unaffected.

"Composite Yield" is in error on the following reports:

• Management Summary Report
• Tool Group Report
• Process Step Report
• Minimum Cycle Time Report

This error does not impact cost and capacity analyses because "Composite Yield" is reported for informational purposes only and is not part of PRO COOL® calculations.

Yield equations will be corrected in PRO COOL® version 1.0.1.
