The following is a list of known errors that, in most cases, have been corrected in the most recent update of Factory Commander v2.7.
Error 2004-02181: When exporting images of a graph to an external file, the JPG format does not generate a file when exported is complete. Status: Fixed. If the JPG (or PNG) is desired as an export format you will need to uninstall and reinstall the Factory Commander using the most recent setup program that is currently posted on the web.
Error 2004-02182: When running a sensitivity analysis two consecutive times with the “Show Program Calculations” checkbox selected, an error is generated at the end the second run. Status: Fixed.
Error 2004-02111: For models containing multiple buildings where one or more of the building are defined as currently existing (non-future factory mode), the space limitations presented on the Equipment Space Requirement Report were inaccurate. Status: Fixed
Error 2004-02031: For models containing multiple buildings where one or more of the building are defined as currently existing (non-future factory mode), the space limitation inputs (from the Space Factor tab of the Building, Facility & Space Data screen) would later be displayed incorrectly when navigating from one building to the next. Status: Fixed
Error 2004-01141: When changes the space units (from the Building Data Screen / Space Factors page) from ft. sq. to m2 or visa versa, an error message would be generated stating: “Error 12, Variable 'BLD_CAPRAT' is not found.”. This error would result in invalid space-related entries to be calculated for the Equipment groups, facility, and the building(s). Status: Fixed
Error 2004-01121: When importing Equipment Data, in certain instances the Error message “Variable ‘LCTYPE’ is not found.” was presented. Status: Fixed
Error 2004-01521: When using the Automated Sensitivity Analysis screen and accessing the “Equipment Groups Used” button, an error message would be presented stating “SQL: Column ‘IS_USED’ is not found.” Status: Fixed
Error 2004-01201: Errors importing Building Data when new buildings are created via the import routine (i.e. records of building exist in the spreadsheet but not in the model prior to import). Status: Fixed
Error 2004-01281: While editing data on the In-Place Equipment screen, newly input records would disappear if there entries where duplicated of Equipment already present in this list. Status: Fixed
Error 2004-01282: In certain instances, the error message “Variable ‘EQUIP_COD’ is not found” would be presented when In-Place Equipment Data was imported into the program. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-12101: For models containing process flows with multiple start points, the resulting yield calculation for some of the process steps would be incorrect. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-12102: An error would when attempting to run allCLEAR (a separate installed program) in order to view a flow chart of a Factory Commander process flow. This error only related to the earlier versions of allCLEAR (v3.53 or prior) used in conjunction with Factory Commander. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-12111: On certain computers, when attempting to access the Step Yield Over Time input screen, the program terminates without warning. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-12121: When attempting to access the list to selected individual resources (such as Equipment Group or Labor Group) relating to sensitivity analysis for any resource other than Product Type, an error would occur and the list would not be presented. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-12122: When running sensitivity analysis calculations with the show calculation time option selected, the progress screen cannot be closed once all calculations are completed and the sensitivity report is displayed. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-08211: When exporting data files to spreadsheet on systems with Excel 2002 (Excel for XP) installed, a notification message would appear stating that “Microsoft Excel cannot find any data to replace.” This message would occur with many of the exported data types, but only with Excel 2002 (not with prior Excel releases). Status: Fixed
Error 2003-07311: When running a sensitivity analysis, in certain instances the progress bar would show significantly less than 100% when the calculations were actually completed. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-05221: When running sensitivity analysis of product-specific input parameters, such as Production Volume or Final Yield, for models where the user changes the combination of products used in the calculations, errant output could be presented in the sensitivity analysis reports. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-06021: When running program calculations after importing the labor spreadsheet, the calculator that determines labor headcount was skipped. This would result in improper computations for the headcount and labor costs. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-06022: In the Material Item Cost at Product report the cost for small cost items were presented with digits truncated after the second decimal place. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-06041: When the Production Mode drop-down box is selected in the Production Demand page of the Product Data screen, an error (Error 1806, SQL: Column 'LNLOADTYPE' is not found) was generated. This issue only occurred when creating new products where no prior product records existed. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-06111: When a model was run with one or more building classified as Future Factory as the Building Status, and their expenditures were determined by the Expenditure Rates method (e.g. based on $/sq.ft.), the resultant building shell expenditures presented on the Capital Cost Summary reports were incorrect for all future time periods. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-06161: The cumulative cash flow line in the Capital Cost Summary’s export spreadsheet was erroneous. This applied to both the quarterly and annual versions of this report. This only applied to the exported versions of this report; the printed/viewed report was not affected. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-06162: For models having positive cash flow for all periods in the modeling timeframe, an erroneous message was displayed as a footnote on Financial Summary report saying “Cash Flow does not payback costs for timeframe”. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-06171: For models comprised of monthly time periods for some or all of its timeframe with start dates set at mid-year, and the options “Quarters Based on Fiscal Year” and “Use Specific Dates on Screens and Reports” (e.g. Oct ’03, Nov ’03…) are selected, the year indicator for the initial months would be presented as fiscal as opposed to calendar. This would lead to confusion as to which year the month was associated when data was exported or presented in a non-continuous period fashion. Now all monthly periods for screens and reports are presented in terms of the calendar year regardless of the user options selected. Status: Fixed
Error 2003-05061: For models that have headcount specified at the process sector, either exclusively or in combination with other methods (i.e., sector level and factory level or equipment level), the calculated headcount and labor costs allocated to the sector level were inaccurate. These quantities now reflect the sources by which they were derived. Also, the headcount and labor cost now correlate between the Sector Resource Summary and the Sector Total Cost per Sector report. This issue only affected these two reports, and not the quantities presented on the labor group level reports. Status: Fixed.
