TECHNICAL ALERT #9 FOR
ALL USERS OF TWO COOL®

If your analyses have both maintenance technician inputs set to 1.0 or have all maintenance labor covered by contracts AND only use a single system, then you will experience NO ERROR.

It has been discovered that three areas in the maintenance calculations may generate errors under certain circumstances. The discussions below identify the affected areas and estimate the errors based on the TWO COOL® default data set.

Cost of Ownership Calculation Section: Maintenance: Labor
This calculation does not scale the scheduled or unscheduled maintenance hours to the number of required technicians. This can lead to errors in the reported value when the number of technicians required is greater than one AND the related service is not covered by a service contract.
