TECHNICAL ALERT #7 FOR ALL USERS OF TWO COOL®

TWO COOL® v2.1.1 (and earlier versions) allows for the analysis of a single tool using multiple process recipes. The process recipe section uses a simple weighted average based on percentage use for throughput. For cases where throughput differs among process recipes, a simple weighted average may overestimate throughput (see case 2).

This issue does not impact analyses of process recipes with similar throughputs or analyses using single process recipes (see case 1). Should this situation affect you, please contact Wright Williams & Kelly directly for additional information.
