Training Seminars and Workshops
Wright Williams & Kelly is pleased to announce the global availability of its industry standard
training courses. These courses have been offered through exclusive arrangement with SEMI®
(Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International) since 1992 and are now offered for
presentation at your facilities or at WWK's.
WWK has provided on-site classes to a wide cross section of companies and organizations
interested in improving their productivity and reducing costs, including: Texas Instruments,
STMicroelectronics, Philips Semiconductors, SEMATECH, Seagate, Nikon Precision, Lam Research,
China Electronics Engineering Design Institute, and numerous other industry leaders.
In 1992, with the rapid growth of interest in cost of ownership (COO), WWK developed the
course "Understanding and Using Cost of Ownership." This course provides a solid framework
on COO from concepts through applications to hands on exercises.
WWK also offers the management oriented Making Decisions with Cost of Ownership to
assist senior managers in getting the most value from COO and Making a Difference with
Cost of Ownership designed to sensitize operators to their impact on COO.
In support of WWK's factory level modeling programs, two product specific courses have
been created. These courses provide a practical introduction to Factory Commander® cost
and resource modeling and Factory Explorer® capacity analysis and discrete event simulation.
Productivity is one of the most critical elements in the success of any factory. This has
led to an array of analysis methods and tools to assist manufacturers in making rapid
progress towards improving productivity. Optimizing Equipment and Factory Productivity
explains which methods to use, when they should be applied, and how to apply the tools
most efficiently.
The management of WWK has extensive experience in business development and product
introductions. How to Successfully Manage New Product Introductions was developed in
response to the clear difficulties and risks associated with the introduction of next generation
products. The course provides mid- and senior-level managers involved in product
development and introduction with a framework within which to maximize their opportunity
for success.
Additionally, WWK has joined forces with our consulting affiliates to provide numerous
courses in the critical areas of product and manufacturing improvement, including:
Equipment Reliability Overview
Design Practices for Equipment Quality, Reliability,
Safety, Manufacturability, and Maintainability
ISO 9001 Training for Managers, Internal Auditors, and
Process Owners
A Series of TPM training courses, including, but not
limited to:
