WWK Establishes Sales and
Technical Support in Japan
Cost of Ownership Seminars Scheduled
for Tokyo in March 1997
January 10, 1997 (Dublin, CA) - Wright Williams & Kelly (WWK) announced today the continued expansion of its sales and technical support operations to Tokyo, Japan. Full product line sales and support will be provided under a multi-year agreement with Materials & Equipment Trading Service (METS). This action is in direct response to the company's continued rapid growth in installed customer base and its expanded offerings in operational modeling software products and services.
"METS was selected to support our growing installed base in Japan after an exhaustive selection process," states David W. Jimenez, WWK's Vice President and General Manager. "They possess a unique understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and operational modeling. This has been accomplished through the dedication of resources to software modeling products and not simply reassigning capital equipment sales and support personnel."
"METS is pleased to begin representing WWK and its product line in Japan," says Kenryo Watanabe, President of METS. "METS' formation in 1995 was predicated on the notion of helping Japanese tool and device manufacturers control and reduce costs. WWK's products fit well with this strategy."
